About this deal

Pour the entire tin of the caramel into the cream and combine it ensuring there is a smooth consistency and no lumps.

Add another layer of Tennis biscuits on top of it and top this off with the remaining half of the mixture. It is made from milk chocolate which covers green mint flavoured crystals that shatter providing a delightful texture and flavour.

The base is still exactly the same as the original recipe.. a super simple no-bake biscuit base made with condensed milk, butter and Peppermint Crisp bars. BUT the chocolate topping is totally different!! In this recipe I've used a classic milk chocolate layer and decorated it with ALL of my favourite peppermint chocolates and biscuits - Mint Slice biscuits, Mint Patties, Peppermint Crisp bars and Flake chocolate bars. See... ALL the mint chocolate goodness! South Africa is well known for its fridge tarts (why not try this recipe for pineapple fridge tart?) and this is one of the easiest fridge tarts to make. It literally takes 15 minutes from start to tart. The hardest part is waiting for it to set in the fridge afterwards. I changed it a bit...had too much of the mint crisp version. I used broken ginger biscuits which I added to the cream mix, I also used the ginger biscuit flavoured chocolate slab, which I grated over the top. In a suitable dish (preferably square or rectangular) place a layer of biscuits - don't worry if there are small spaces in-between. I didn’t want to make my way up to Cork just to get the ingredients, so I substituted with these ingredients:I’m getting my gf (she is an aussie) to make that for me for my b-day on sat!come and join regular Die Burger bloggers on similiar topics at:
