About this deal
Dell Latitude 13 5310’s IPS touchscreen panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, good contrast ratio, and wide color coverage (91% of the sRGB gamut). Moreover, it doesn’t use PWM for brightness adjustment, and our Gaming and Web design profile actually improves the color accuracy quite drastically. Work how you want: Use it like a tablet with the optional active pen or like a laptop with the ISO-compliant keyboard. With optional Thunderbolt™ 3 port for even more versatility.

The section below, provides links to articles that contain information about the different hardware on your laptop. They can help you to troubleshoot any issues that might be identified by the above diagnostics. There are also general "How to" articles that can help with tasks, for example like updating the BIOS or upgrading a hard drive. Still, we’ve included other color spaces like the famous DCI-P3 standard used by movie studios, as well as the digital UHD Rec.2020 standard. Rec.2020, however, is still a thing of the future and it’s difficult for today’s displays to cover that well. We’ve also included the so-called Michael Pointer gamut, or Pointer’s gamut, which represents the colors that naturally occur around us every day. Power through the day: Get the world's longest battery life in a 13" mainstream business laptops *. Optional Super Low Power panel gives you more power savings without compromising resolution, color or brightness.
Beauty in every detail
In addition to the aforementioned perks, the laptop has optional Wi-Fi 6 and LTE support, as well as (again optional) IR face recognition system and fingerprint reader. And on top of that, you can pair it with up to 32GB of DDR4 memory in dual channel mode, via the two SODIMM slots. Our commitment to sustainability: We use low VOC waterborne paint, which aims to create a healthier work environment. Our 5000 series Latitudes were the first to use post-industrial carbon fiber in the design and include post-consumer recycled material, which prevents carbon fiber from ending up in landfills. Installing our Health-Guard profile not only eliminates PWM but also reduces the harmful Blue Light emissions while keeping the colors of the screen perceptually accurate. If you’re not familiar with the Blue light, the TL;DR version is – emissions that negatively affect your eyes, skin, and your whole body. You can find more information about that in our dedicated article on Blue Light. Conclusion
With that said, it’s a shame that Dell is still offering the laptop with a 768p TN panel, and make sure you stay away from it. The coin you’ll save by choosing it is definitely not worth the poor viewing angles and bad color reproduction.
