Ahead of Splatoon 3's release, Nintendo is giving Nintendo Switch Online plus Expansion Packsubscribers the chance to play Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion at no additional cost. Nintendo will also be reprinting older Splatoon Amiibo ahead of Splatoon 3's release, giving you another chance to snag them. Ink is spread via various weapons that resemble real-world items like buckets and paintbrushes, with tons of weapon classes to learn. Save data can be saved to the Save Data Cloud, meaning that you can play on multiple Nintendo Switch consoles, provided that your user account and Nintendo account are linked.

Adorned with splashy, squid-tastic images straight out of Splatsville, the Nintendo Switch – OLED Model Splatoon 3 Special Edition includes a set of one blue and one yellow gradient Joy-Con controllers with white underbellies and a white, graffiti-themed Nintendo Switch dock. The speckled and diamond pattern is a nice change from the standard model and we like how this is followed through on the Joy-Con too. As one of the most popular games out there, it makes sense that Fortnite would get a special edition Switch all of its own.
