A chronograph is a key tool needed to maximize the accuracy of your rifle. The app records speed, custom profiles, calibres and gives multiple readouts depending on what you require. Store and save your data, or export it to use in other programs. The App can call out the numbers as you shoot, so no need to take your eye off your target. I did notice in my testing that different FPS readings can occur, depending on where you place the gun over the chronograph. Slightly different results can occur depending on how far in front of the chronograph the barrel is and how far above the barrel. Once I set the Minimum Return to 20 instead of highest every shot, the issue was resolved. Easy! The FX Chronograph read every pellet I sent over it from then on…

All in all, as I said in the beginning of this review, I will have to get one for myself! It would be a benefit in any airgunner’s tool kit. BUY FROM AIRGUN DEPOT Going through each screen gives an impressive selection of inputs that can have you using everything from a airgun high power to a nerf gun. I was frustrated that there weren’t any directions to help me to figure out the problem so I decided to hunt through the screens of the program. My aim was to see if there was a problem with the unit or the unit operator 😉 The chronograph itself can be used for more than just airguns. Any projectile travelling under 1250 FPS can be accurately measured. This includes subsonic rifles, pistols, CO2 air rifles, paintball and more.
FX is always looking for ways to revolutionize and improve their customers experience, and they decided to find a way to offer the best of both worlds, a chronograph of high quality that is surprisingly affordable. Simply strap the unit to the end of the barrel, open the app and start recording the speed of your shots. Open the FX radar app on your phone, and start firing away as the phone lists (or even calls out) your shot-string. If for some reason parcels are required to be redirected then an additional charge might be levied (where applicable). Also if goods are refused or not called for a charge might also be incurred. The latest addition for the very popular FX Chronograph. This is the stand alone digital display unit. It can be clipped directly onto any picatinny rail or remove the picatinny adapter and slot direct onto the rear rail of the FX Impact. In the chronograph world, you really only have two options: The expensive complicated units that give you most of what you need, but cost far too much, or the cheaper models that are outdated, not very portable, are light sensitive/dependent, and often break easily. For me, best results seemed to be achieved placing the barrel about 2 inches above the chronograph and about 6 inches in front. Just find the best placement for your gun and repeat that placement each time for consistent, comparable results. If you (the customer) requests DPD (our courier) to leave your parcel with a neighbour or in safe place either via Parcelforce text, app, direct instructions or via historical instructions given to DPD to be applied to your deliveries, then the receiver accepts full responsibility for parcels that are left in a safe place or delivered at request to a neighbour etc. The unit has an on board battery which can be charged via a USB C cable ( cable IS included ) - You will require your own charger unit such as a phone charger.

Note: We will not be able give any guarantees of function or liability, neither will we be able to give any support to 3D printing. Also note that the FX app allows you to make manual calibration adjustments of up to plus or minus 2%. So it would be easy to adjust the FX Chronograph readings to exactly match that of the reference chronograph – assuming that the AAFTA-designated unit was 100% correct, of course! Hmmm… The unit tells you everything you need to know to determine if your gun is working as you expect it to be. Most affordable chronographs out today use two light sources. These measure the pellets time speeding across the distance between those light sources.
Mount: 1/4”-20 Female thread – There is also a slot on the bottom side that allows you to mount the chrono on an edge, for example a fence. Knowing the speed of your projectile when the gun is at its best performance will let you know its primary health. Comparing this to future results will tell you if things have changed for the better or more importantly, for the worse. Capable of recording velocities from 400-4000FPS it has applications for both Airguns and full bore rifles alike. So much so that he’s going to buy it… This is also true for any firearm. Yes, no sensitivity settings needed as it seamlessly reads any projectile between 400 to 4000 fps without pressing any button.
