About this deal

Since 2010 Castrol Polska together with BP Polska have been part of BP Europa SE based in Hamburg, a company managing the operations of all BP markets in Central Europe. You're also looking at oils with good flow charateristics, so if its a new engine, i'd be looking at full synths on a race engine. And bear in mind I would probably dilute five litres of premix with a full tank of fuel so the resultant oil ratio was tiny.

do what you want but i advise anyone else not to dump castor oil into your four stroke fuel tank at any ratio,,especially if you just want to smell like roger decoster? An article in the VMCC journal suggests that the time to change caster is when you immerse an old coin in it and it comes out like new.Oils such as Castrol R don't mix well with mineral or synthetic oils and go all snotty (technical engineering term), so don't lubricate much. Where special cam shafts are fitted there may be a good case for using Castrol POWER1 R 40 as the small areas in contact will be heavily loaded especially where double valve springs are fitted. Hope the pic ain't too small to see but this is the extent of carbon build up after running the engine for years on a mixture of Castrol R40, plain modern mineral, part-synth, fully-synth, and sometimes a mixture of one, or more than one other of the aforementioned.

Within four years the Wright Brothers would take tentatively to the air, followed albeit somewhat belatedly by compatriot Samuel Franklin Cody at Famborough in 1908. This motor oil contains specially prepared additives to prevent rapid deterioration through oxidation and has superior 'oiliness' over mineral oils. We are often asked about the best way to obtain the Castrol R odour and from our discussions we are aware that many people add a small amount to their fuel. I hadn't a speedo, just a rev counter (that didn't work, of course), and JW pulled alongside me near Ripley and pointed at his clock, showing just over a ton, before pulling gently away.My opinion is this isn’t in itself harmful and could be why so many racers used Castrol R because it prevents seizures.

Apparently the R30 that you ran yours on is still available in Oz where they use it in colder weather. In the case of Sir Charles Cheers Wakefield, later Baron Wakefield of Hythe, the sweet smell of success was more than a metaphor. Now I am of a certain age I have recently completed an NHS postal test for thispossible problem which I believe is offered to all older people in the UKand thankfully this was negative. uk/itm/Castrol-POWER1-R-40-SAE-40-Castor-Based-Racing-Motorcycle-Engine-Oil-1-Litre-1L/162764390339? So it seems the bike runs better and smoother with a sweet addictive smell but it must sludge up the motor over time.

The comment about the aroma being marmite is probably correct, but I do like a spread of marmite on my morning toast…the castrol R aroma brings back many great memories for me.
