Though the blades are sharp, it is recommended that the operator keeps the blades clean and free from dead grass. Another beneficial feature of this mower is the central carry handle, which is well positioned and balanced for transportation. Safety FeaturesEven though a 10 metre power cable on this Bosch UniversalRotak 550 does seem a little short, it is pretty much standard on most electric mowers. Bosch has installed a cable, far shorter than the area that the mower can cut, at 10 metres. The mower is rated to cut 550 square metres, for example a 10×55 metre lawn. So, a shielded extension cable will need to be bought if you do not have one already. To stripe or not to stripe? That is the question, and the eternal debate wages on.
