If you choose our luxury roller system we will supply you with a smart 7cm tall aluminium cassette that hides the roll of fabric, the brackets and the blind mechanism. A wonderful innovation that is both beautiful and highly practical, this electric double bracket roller blind positions a sheer blind behind a blackout blind so they can be operated separately; allowing you amazing control over the amount of visibility and light entering your room. Still a clean and simple to use handset but with stylish contrasting dark grey accents, this remote operates a single blind and comes with a discreet wall mount so it can move with you but also have a home to help prevent it being lost. The tension pole means that they can be opened and closed whenever you need meaning you don’t have to put them up or take them down every day. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because the is still some light that enter in the room, but maybe it is for how the blind is built. There are many more fabrics available and all our fabric are available in many different colours and patterns please contact us to discuss your options. I couldn’t believe how strong they were and they really do block out the light, it’s changed my night times!Even where suction cups are used, they are likely to become obsolete over time and more robust fitments should improve the durability of the product. Luckily we already had a pair of curtains up, not blackout lined ones though, so we just bought a made to measure blackout blind online to put up at the window. If our blinds are too small for your window, then you can layer multiple blinds to create one larger window covering. If you’re using them for a floor to ceiling window they won’t reach the ground and you’ll have a strange gap. Fantastic product -using them as there is a delay to our shutters being fitted and we had taken the curtain rails down. And if you get portable blackout blinds you can take them on holiday too, so you get a well deserved lie in when you go away too.
Once this has been done, you can use the draw string to pull the blind towards the window keeping it in place and sealing the gaps around the edge. Added bonus is the black ones are blackout and this stops street lights etc shining through at night.
