I made 2 batches - 1 with white pva glue from wilko's and the green almat gel and one with clear Pritt pva and the same gel. It has to be mixed with cold water, boiling water added and then cold, and each item dipped separately. The best advice I can give is to give the Persil a good shake, and then start with just a few spoonfuls of PVA glue and add the tiniest bit of Persil at a time and stir in between each addition.It helps the iron glide smoothly over the fabric and adds body or crispness to shirt collars and pleats.
