About this deal

I thought it is just a drywall, so I followed the steps online: (1) drill a 1/4” hole, (2) plug in plastic anchor; (3) screw into anchor. These come in different colours and patterns, including more luxurious cotton bathmats that can complement various bathroom styles. The plan was to use tapcon screws to attach a strip of wood to the brick wall which would serve as the back support. We have this curved shower curtain rod that’s been giving us a problem and I need ideas/suggestions and help in finding a good way to secure it to the drywall if that’s still a possibility.

Shower curtains are a must-have for privacy and will stop your bathroom from getting soaked whenever you wash. I’m afraid if I go up with the rod to a new location without at least filling the previously drilled holes, that I’ll run into current problem of having a very large hole. Now if you can move the rod as I explained in first post you will have enough strength in the drywall.Large enough to fit all your daily essentials, the simple clip-on design is suitable for most shower riser rails. The materials used in each shower curtain range from polyester to PVC and are easy to hang using our selection of shower curtain hooks and shower curtain rails. JustAnswer is not intended or designed for EMERGENCY questions which should be directed immediately by telephone or in-person to qualified professionals. We also supply rings and fastenings to connect your curtain to your shower rail, so you can get your new bathroom setup working in no time.

The mounting of the rod requires drilling holes in the wall and ceiling to screw in the mounting elements. I have two options on hand hand for filling the holes, actually 3 options on hand… I have the mini hole spackling, joint compound, and another I can’t seem to find at the moment, for drywall bullnose edge damage that’s in between the two. Slips Verified Reviewer I was disappointed, because you have to pull out the rod to suitable length and THEN tighten it.Our no-fuss shower rail kits can easily be installed yourself, and you’ll spot options made from both hard-wearing plastic and sleek chrome. It is a bit thin so it will flex a little if push downwards but anyway this is not meant to hold much weight, just a normal shower curtain.

For those looking to revamp their bath setup, we offer bath panels in a variety of styles to help you give your bathroom those final touches. remove the plate fill the existing holes then place the plate on the wall so the edge of the flange is just touching the edge of the existing hole. As well as plain white bath curtains that go with any décor, why not browse our coloured and patterned picks, which will instantly brighten up your room? Insert a flat head screwdriver behind the exposed flat portion of the drywall anchors and pry outward to remove them. However, the wall will require repairs where the screws and mounting hardware detach and leave holes. Some curved rods have a telescoping action so you can simply slide them back on themselves to detach them from the wall. I did not take pictures of the holes themselves, I only have pictures of the securement I achieved with the butterfly’s, and post that.
