About this deal

Since then, millions of audio professionals from all parts of the world have become loyal users of beyerdynamic products.

This thing is so bright that it brought high frequencies resonances that I did not even think were in the music! Alcuni hanno scritto in proposito che si tratta di una cuffia V-shaped ovvero non perfettamente piatta, ma con leggera enfasi su bassi e alti. However after actually using the headphones, the coiled cable is actually better for me than having nearly 3 meters of cable hanging on the floor in front of my computer, where I sit when listening to music.

The very early (high impedance ones) even had zener diodes in anti-series to prevent maximum excursions.

These open backed headphones with circumaural ear pads have a lightweight diaphragm for improved performance. Sound leakage is similar in both, so neither are good for listening to next to your sleeping partner (who hates going off to music and especially hates jazz) in bed unless you want a poke in the ribs. Different music works best on certain headphones (for instance, listening to Beatrice Rana’s performance of the Goldberg Variations this morning I much prefer the rendition of her piano’s sound through the Amirons to that of the 770s (the piano sounding decidedly more lifelike through the Amirons), whereas with Thelonious Monk’s It’s Monk’s Time the difference is less obvious and, if anything, I’d say I actually prefer the 770s with their greater attack. There are obviously loads of reviews of the 990s on the internet, and although very popular they obviously divide opinion. The ear cups and head band are wearing incredibly well and have shaped themselves to my head nicely, so they are incredibly comfortable to wear for many hours at a time, even with glasses! Good quality headphones can go up to 1000s of Euros along with headphone amps and other high-end stuff, but these are both studio-grade headphones and the DT 770 Pro is a standard in good recording studios for tracking (we use them at Abbey Road Institute (Amsterdam) and Red Bull Studios Amsterdam).

They are quite difficult to power, so if you're considering a pair of these you will also want to factor into account the need for a headphone amplifier. Now that I'm wearing these headphones for 6-8 hours a day I do begin to notice the weight but it is not neccesarely disturbing. To summarize my impressions of Techno and Trance: the majority of tracks in these genres sound bad and unpleasant on DT990. These 990 Pro's just give me all that is best about the Sennheiser 580's, but improve on the bass and detail, making them a really good and balanced sounding headphone.

The Amirons (Homes) are, to my mind, decidedly more “musical” or “liquid” sounding headphones, very enjoyable for extended listening and very revealing, in comparison with those I would describe the 990s and 880s as rather “analytical” sounding and the 770s are somewhat “dryer” (I hope describing their sound as both “dryer” and “fatter” doesn’t sound like a contradiction in terms but I can’t immediately think of a better words to describe the sound). You will be offered the best rate available based on your credit history and the lenders’ credit decision policies.Outstanding tonal depth ensures that even small changes in the positioning of the acoustic source can be perceived while mixing.
